Full course description
Instructor: Josh Dasal
One of the best ways to organize documentary research, explore new ideas, and accurately plan for the unexpected is to write a script. In this workshop, students will learn the basics of documentary script writing—including conceptual and practical theory behind script construction—the role of story in documentary filmmaking, and proper A/V script formatting. Students will also use widely available script writing software in practical exercises focused on translating their ideas to screen. (6 hours / All Levels)
This one-day workshop will meet on Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm ET.
